Temple University Fort Washington, a graduate and professional education center, offers hundreds of non-credit classes each year for professional development and personal enrichment for adult learners. Many of these courses have been customized and delivered conveniently and economically to employees at company sites all over the Delaware Valley. Temple partners with its corporate customers to deliver skill-enhancing courses for its employees.
How We Work Together
Temple staff does the behind-the-scenes work by assessing your training needs, providing highly competent and engaging trainers, customizing relevant business seminars, and creating a schedule that works for everyone involved. Trainers provide participants with a dynamic and interactive experience in the classroom and skills and knowledge to apply on the job right away.
Temple also provides participants with Certificates of Completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to add to their performance development portfolio. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits are available as well.
Program and Course Options
Workshops are available for on-site delivery and focus on key workplace topics in leadership, presentation skills, conflict management, motivation, interpersonal communication, customer service, writing and grammar, time management, and performance management.
Certificate programs in Leadership and Management, Professional Communications, and Working with People are a few of the multi-course, non-credit certificate programs available for on-site classes as well. These courses and certificate programs give participants practical skills and knowledge applicable immediately to the workplace. Courses and programs can be formatted in half-day modules or full-day training sessions.
Computer technical training is also available in varying formats and includes Word, Excel, and Access training as well as multi-day certificate programs in Database Management and Web Site Design. Classes are hands-on, taught by exceptional technical trainers, and include instructional materials and Certificates of Completion.
